Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship
The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), in cooperation with NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, seeks to sustain and enhance the quality of life throughout rural America by advancing an understanding of rural telecommunications issues. Through its various programs and initiatives, FRS strongly supports the continuing education of rural youth.
Recognizing the differences between rural and urban access to higher education, the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) offers an annual college scholarship program to help further higher education among rural youth. Awards are granted to students sponsored by a NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association Member Company and, if chosen, is awarded $2,000 by FRS in addition the member company will award a $500 scholarship match.
